New Student Orientation
Bear Facts Orientation gives you the opportunity to experience college before it starts in the Fall. When you come to Orientation, you'll learn about the tips and tricks that will help you do better, get better grades and stay on track to graduate in four years. Why try to figure out where your classes are, how the campus is laid out, and who your professors are on the first day of school? Make it easy on yourself, do it at Bear Facts and then relax. You'llget to meet with staff from your academic college and register early for classes. You'll also receive academic advising, tour the campus, and so much more!
Family Orientation
Family Orientation is a one-day program which takes place on the first day of all Bear Facts Orientation student sessions. It provides family members with the tools and information needed to assist in their student's transition to college life and academic success. Although you and your student will follow different program tracks, you will check in together.
Family - Spanish Language Session
La Orientación Familiar es un programa de un día que se lleva a cabo el primer día del programa de Bear Facts para estudiantes. La sesión en español se llevará a cabo el 11 de julio 2009. Este programa fue creado para proveer a las familias con guías e información sobre nuestra universidad con el propósito de ayudar al estudiante en la transición a la vida universitaria. No falte a este paso importante en la carrera académica de su estudiante. ¡No falte a la Orientación Familiar en UCR!
